Quasi come fosse un posto al di fuori del tempo, questo lussuoso hotel ci trasporta direttamente nel cuore della cultura e della natura Cinesi.

Ci troviamo a Yangshuo, Cina,  immersi nel verde più lussureggiante a due passi dal fiume Lijiang e circondati da montagne ricoperte di vegetazione. Un tempo questa struttura, che trasuda ancora la vita e il lavoro che accadevano qua dentro, era una fabbrica di zucchero, dove veniva lavorato partendo dalla materia prima.

Su progetto dell’architetto Dong Gong di Vector Architects e con gli interni arredati dal pluripremiato designer Ju Bin, questo insieme di spazi, design, modernità, storia, lavoro e dedizione offre un alloggio con i fiocchi per chiunque decida di passare la notte. In contrasto col look rustico esterno, troviamo un interno molto moderno e lineare, con ampi setti in cemento, linee nette di separazione, forme fluide e design accattivante. Ma metà dello spettacolo è comunque dato anche dalla natura, dalla sala pranzo, con enormi vetrate in stile industriale e un arredo semplice ma raffinato, possiamo godere di una vista mozzafiato sul rigoglioso manto di vegetazione che quasi ingloba questo posto. Anche dalle camere da letto, in cui nulla è lasciato al caso e ogni dettaglio conta, la vista toglie il fiato.

E se vogliamo goderci il panorama a 360 gradi, o semplicemente passare una serata a bordo piscina con i piedi in acqua,  possiamo recarci nella parte della struttura che una volta fungeva da magazzino, in cui ora i pilastri che sostenevano il tutto, fanno da cornice sia alla bellissima piscina con patio a sbalzo, che alla vista che godiamo tutto attorno dalle sdraio scelte e organizzate con cura.

Once this structure, which still exudes the life and work that happened here, was a sugar factory, where it was worked beginning with the raw material.

Designed by the architect Dong Gong of Vector Architects and with the interiors furnished by the award-winning designer Ju Bin, this set of spaces, design, modernity, history, work and dedication offers accommodation with all the trimmings for anyone who decides to spend the night. In contrast to the external rustic look, we find a very modern and linear interior, with large concrete partitions, clear separation lines, fluid shapes and an attractive design. But half of the show is also given by nature, from the dining room, with huge industrial style windows and a simple but refined decor, we enjoy a breathtaking view of the luxuriant vegetation that almost covers this place. Even from the bedrooms, where nothing is left to chance and every detail counts, the view takes your breath away.
