Tutto è iniziato per gioco e per passione.

Girando per mercatini e frequentando Venezia e Murano, Paola Croci ha cominciato a raccogliere scarti di vetri apparentemente senza valore. L’architetto milanese si è poi divertito a pensare nuove combinazioni dando vita a quelle che oggi sono lampade colorate, pezzi unici, ricchi di storie e di amore.

“Il vetro è qualcosa che mi affascina da sempre” ci racconta nel suo studio di Milano. Perchè ? Perché è materia di contrasti solida e compatta ma al tempo stesso fragile e delicata che ha bisogno di calore per essere modellata e prendere nuove e meravigliose forme

Noi siamo innamorati di questi oggetti che sono il risultato di una ricerca di equilibri che nascono da un disegno e tante prove . Ogni lampada è corredata, al suo acquisto, da un nome che è una dedica, una liaison tra l’oggetto e chi lo sceglie, dal primo bozzetto e da una poesia, altra grande passione di Paola.  I richiami a Sottsass e a una geometria divertente degli anni ’70 completano l’atmosfera magica che questi oggetti donano ad ogni stanza. Ce ne sono di ogni colore e dimensione, e sono unici, proprio come Paola che con la sua eleganza e il suo talento ci permette di avere un pezzetto di arcobaleno in casa

It all started with fun and passion.

Passing through flea markets and often going to Venice and Murano, Paola Croci began collecting what appeared to be worthless glass scraps. The Milanese architect then enjoyed thinking up new combinations on how to give life to those that today we ccall colored lamps, unique pieces full of stories and love.

“Glass is something that has always fascinated me”, he tells us in his Milan studio. Because ? Because it is a material made of solid and compact contrasts but at the same time fragile and delicate that needs heat to be modeled and take new and wonderful shapes

We are in love with these objects that are the result of a search for balances that arise from a design and many tests. Each lamp is accompanied to its purchase by a name that is a dedication, a liaison between the object and who chooses it, from the first sketch and from a poem, another great passion of Paola. The references to Sottsass and a funny geometry of the ’70s complete the magical atmosphere that these objects give to each room. There are every color and size, and they are unique, just like Paola, who with her elegance and her talent allows us to have a piece of rainbow at home
