Per noi Italiani non è una meta così comune, ma per chi si trovasse a fare un gran tour degli Stati Uniti vi segnaliamo il Leo Cottage, sulle rive del lago Michigan. Questa casetta accoglie con la luce naturale delle sue numerosissime finestre e riscalda con l’uso massiccio sia nella struttura (al pavimento e alle pareti ridipinto di bianco e al soffitto in travi a vista) che nella scelta del mobilio, moltissimo a impronta vintage – come del resto tutti gli interni di questo delizioso cottage. Oltre a tanti elementi in corda e rattan come lampadari, panche e tappeti, che ci indirizzano verso una decorazione semplice, naturale e appunto vintage, lo stile degli interni si rifà molto al design di artisti contemporanei: il cottage è infatti di proprietà dell’azienda Kate Marker Interiors, il cui lavoro è stato riconosciuto, tra gli altri, anche da Architectural Digest, e che si è occupata anche della ristrutturazione degli interni.

In addition to many elements in rope and rattan like chandeliers, benches and rugs, that point us towards a simple decoration, natural and precisely vintage, the style of the interior refers a lot to the design of contemporary artists: the cottage is in fact owned by the company Kate Marker Interiors, whose work has been recognized by, among others, also Architectural Digest, which also took care of the interior renovation.
