Get the look: parquet in legno bianco per un interno pieno di luce Get the look: white wood parquet for an interior full of light

A house flooded with light, and not all due to just the windows. As usual, for the game with light, white comes into play. And in this beautiful home, the white is the undisputed hero. We’ve seen many homes, hotels, villas and ateliers with a lot of white and a lot of light; but here it’s taken to a new level, as if it were an all white box. Ceilings, walls and…parquet floors, are all completely white. A huge canvas on which to draw our personality and style. And being all white, the furniture needs to choose a different color for itself, or it risks disappearing into the walls or the floor. Black is always a nice contrast, but if it’s exaggerated it could ruin all of our efforts. In this house we prefer wood, or in any case the colors in neutral and warm tones, to contrast the cool white all throughout the house. For example, for the dining area we have a large table with a simple structure, completely black, but softened by the outline of wooden and woven wicker chairs. The kitchen is dressed in an almost milky gray, a cousin of the color black, but with a much more relaxing effect. Also in the living room we find a wide, all black sofa, but pillows, blankets, a small wooden table and paintings on the wall divert attention from the heaviness of this element. At the entrance, just next to the door, we have a small nook dressed in dark colors, to signal the presence of a small cabinet or coat rack to undress at the end of the day. The black always follows us into the bedroom, where it seems the be there to signal the position of the bed and nothing else, quickly covered in pastel colors between the pillows, sheets and cover. Almost only a small mark on our canvas that says “double bed”, to direct us in the right direction at the end of the day. A beautiful completely white home, where black is used as a reference point in every room. During this time that’s a little bit gloomy, let the light enter!
