È stato inaugurato lo scorso 23 giugno il primo hotel galleggiante sulla Senna. Si chiama OFF Paris Seine e porta la firma dall’architetto Gérard Ronzatti, specializzato in progetti di architettura fluttuante e ingegneria navale.  La struttura, composta da un doppio edificio che riprende la forma di un catamarano con doppi scafi, è essa stessa attraversata dal fiume, offrendo uno spettacolo a cielo aperto su entrambe le rive della Senna. Il ponte superiore a prua è occupato da una splendida terrazza, con una micro piscina per immergere i piedi nelle calde giornate estive e una veranda ad ampie vetrate per ammirare il panorama anche nelle serate d’autunno. Le 54 camere sono allineate lungo i due ponti, mentre le 4 suite dal design contemporaneo sono opera di Maurizio Galante e Tal Lancman, che hanno caratterizzato ognuna di esse con una diversa tonalità monocromatica. Il bar lounge, aperto al pubblico, offre a chiunque la possibilità di ammirare l’ondeggiare dei battelli e i maestosi palazzi parigini che si riflettono sull’acqua con giochi di luce sempre diversi a seconda delle ore della giornata. Da non perdere anche solo per sorseggiare un cocktail al tramonto godendosi lo splendido panorama della ville lumière.

The first hotel on water was inaugurated on June 23rd on the Seine. It is called OFF Paris Seine and it bears the signature of architect Gérard Ronzatti, who specializes in floating architectural projects and marine engineering. The structure is made up of a double deck that takes the shape of a catamaran with double hulls. The hotel itself witnesses the ripple of the river as it flows by, offering an amazing open-air show on both banks of the Seine. The upper deck over the bow is occupied by a splendid terrace with a plunge pool where you can immerge your feet during the hot days of the summer and with a veranda characterized by large bay windows where you can enjoy a breath-taking panorama even during cool autumn nights. Its 54 rooms are aligned along the the two decks, while the four contemporary design suites are the works of Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman, who decorated each of these suites with different monochrome tones. The bar lounge, open to the public, offers anybody the possibility to admire the ballet of boats and the majestic Parisian palaces that reflect on the water and offer plays of light that change throughout the day. Don’t miss it, even if just to sip a cocktail during the sunset, enjoying a splendid panorama of the city of light.
